Am I not going to be a diplomat anymore?!

Hi, blog! Haven’t written here for too long😬

Today, sitting in the middle of the huge so-called Gorkovskoye Sea (actually it’s Gorky reservoir on the Volga River), fishing with my dad (yes, we’re on the winter fishing in the middle of April), I’m going to make a small self-discovery and answer my click-bait question from the title:

Am I not going to be a diplomat anymore?!

Well, answering this question, firstly we need to define the word “diplomat” itself, as well as the word “diplomacy”

According to Wikipedia, a diplomat is

“a person appointed by a state or an intergovernmental institution such as the United Nations or the European Union to conduct diplomacy with one or more other states or international organizations.”

And the Diplomacy, in turn, is the practice of influencing the decisions and conduct of foreign governments or organizations through dialogue, negotiation, and other nonviolent means.

Then let’s talk about the branches of diplomacy. They are many in fact. Here are just some of them: humanitarian diplomacy, energy diplomacy, Public diplomacy, shuttle diplomacy, economic diplomacy and so on and so forth…

As for me, I’m interested in Humanitarian diplomacy. My this year’s course paper is called «The role of international humanitarian cooperation in the modern conditions of globalization”. So, I’m going to move in this direction and we’ll see how it goes. Whatever I do, my parents always on my side. I really appreciate their support.❤️

Thank your for reading and good bye!👋

See ya later!😸
